I put this in my favourites, but forgot to comment it.

That's a pretty bold choice of exposure in the sunlight. It turned out so beautifully, though.

There is an art to overexposure, and this illustrates that very well. The scene is vanishing like the summer.

They are very good souvenirs indeed.
A very attractive sho) of the canal grande with a beautiful colored rhythm and a magnificent Venetian light which you perfectly got. I agree with you to thank Paolo and Renzo who brought a particular dimension to this meeting thanks to their kindness and to their availability.
It is for me too a magnificent souvenir.

the colors and the expression of the faces in this image make us understand well the dramatic atmosphere of the moment. You have not photographed their bodies but their soul! I believe that God doesn't have to forgive nothing to you, at least this time.
