Welcome to TE! Excellent black and white self-portrait, with a feel for the place. Surrealistic. The square format fits very well here.

Marvelous shot, Agnieszka! Beautifully framed. I think a tad more contras would be better. I uploaded a workshop. Hope you like it.

Mesut,
Excellent photography here! Medium format has produced a wealth of detail and the range of tonality is wide. Love the character of this neighborhood, which are becoming rarer by the day. Thanks for posting this superb photograph.
Regards,
Animesh

Frederic,
Brilliant photography! This is a perfect example of soft focus work that does not romanticize but instead creates a mood that accompanies the most appropriate subject and the mood.
In my humble opinion, this photograph should be framed and hung in a gallery.
Best regards,
Animesh

I don't know why you got so few points on this photo. In my humble opinion you have captured a great moment, funny yet sympathetic. It is hard to miss the eagerness and concentration in the face of this money, its earnestness is a caricature of us humans but by doing so it expresses a very human emotion as well as some of the best work of human mimes. Congratulations on a beautiful photograph.

Oh man, this is such an amazingly complex scene. One gets lost, almost, then one rises in fascination with the detail and the absurdity of it all...amazing photo.

What a marvelous use of wide angle to accentuate the play of light and shadows and life around them. Marvelous photography!

Wow Evren! A lovely shot of nightfall at the docks. Marvelous color and tonality. Your composition is brilliant and so is the color rendition. The transition from still-bright blue-purple sky on the right to the darkening sky at the left, with delicious 'grain', is fascinating. Love this one.

PS: I am thinking of going for a 5D (or a D300, for which I already have a 28/2 and 105/2.5). Can't decide. What lens was this one taken with?

Dear Evren,
Nice shot here from Bangladesh. Excellent tilt, which emphasizes the dynamics of this view of the hard work at the dock.
Look forward to more of your work in Dhaka.
Best wishes,
Animesh

A beautiful moment of closeness, captured with excellent sensitivity.
Love the asymmetric composition, which gives it sufficient "air" so their closeness gets the emphasis it deserves.
