I like this. I just visited Buffalo and saw the poverty there. I posted one picture showing this downside, but wondered if I should add any more. Now I will, thanks to your theme in this true to life photo.

This is a general comment about your photography: I very much like your pictures of women, like this one. You catch them unawares, or seemingly unawares, in natural and interesting poses. I also like the use of b&w in these. Thanks for the inspiration.

Amazing photo and amazing luck with the whale. I just got back from a holiday in Tadoussac, and we crossed the St. Lawrence at Les Ecoumins. We saw many whales, many seals, etc, but nothing this close. Does it often happen for kayakers?

Who took this shot? What a perfect juxtaposition to show how close and the size of the finback. Great photo, and I KNOW how quick you had to have been.
