Hey Mark ;-)
I have an image in my mind about a picture from this church against the mountains and your version comes very close to what i have in mind. Snow on the peaks, great light on the church, deep greens (i need in fact snow on it) and that other beauty far away for mking the whole scenery complete. One thing i need to bring...a chainsaw to cut down those trees ;-)
Just like Kristine i see some halo effect around the mountains, but is not really disturbing, it's all about that church that looks very good.
Good you go out with your mkII, you did not bought that thing to keep it in your bag whole winter in that great surrounding ;-)
So now and then i'm peaking in here (only look at some peoples pictures, no forum), and seeing you're back, something i will not do, but it's good to see some work from your hand.
Take care my German friend,
Henk

Elaine ;-)
Groetjes, Henk

De titel is schitterend ;-)

Well well well....if that isn't the Noorderhaven ;-))))
Hey Giant...i thought you had all your Dutch shots lost, seems this one survied.
I know where you stood, i think i passed this place hundreds and hundreds of times without stopping or even thinking in taking one single picture. You see, when living here i see nothing, while you present a picture-perfect postcard from Groningen.
At least you put this town on the map here, i think thousands of extra tourists will come out next year and flood the city ;-)
How is life buddy, all well in SA? Wrote you a mail with Bjork inside to your GMail account, hope you got it.
Take care my friend....hugs the the both of you...!!!

My friend,
Thanks for you words man, they mean a lot to me, you know that. Yes it's also crap crap crap on the other side, like on every web site, so what's new? High quality is hard to find, but also that is no surprise.
I don't miss this here, i still follow some members and the things they upload, but that's all. The other side has much more international impact, Getty is involved and for these small reasons i'm there, although i'm not prentensious at all in what i make and deliver down there.
Furthermore i'm uploading worldwide thousands of images, you know where and on which places...at the end that brings more than typing on a web site which i hardly do anymore.
How is life in SA, you are enjoying it? I was planning to send an email to your Videotron address, but maybe it's wiser to use the Gmail account? Let me know on the other side because i don't read the forum anymore here.
Take care my friend, and give the precious Wanda a big hug from me ;-)
p.s
One day we have to go out again, the two of us, and shoot these fall colours our self in Quebec or New England ;-)

Hi Olivier,
Wonderful light on the church, a warm glow which stands proud against that blue above and the dark almost silouette toning below.
I see some dustspots in the blue nearn and in between of the two towers.
Regards,
Henk

Hi Alain,
Man above the clouds...there you are again ;-)
Wonderful how these clouds ly there and the church is sticking out of it, great eye leading focal point. Very nice atmosphere you created here...lovely image.
Have a nice weekend,
Henk

Hi Kari,
I've never been to Brugge, but all pictures i saw from it here on TE are more or less the same, so what a surprise to see something else. No idea they also had a nice plaza, but when being there on a sunny lazy afternoon it surely looks inviting in takeing a seat there...
Have a nice weekend,
Henk

Hallo Philipp,
These scenes are classic, but especially in vertical format they can bring a lot of perspective depth when we also have focal points in the background and that is exactly what you have here.
A bit more EXIF info would be nice knowing how long the time-exposure was for example, but the blue hour and the exposure it self is very good and brings out a very good image in front....well done.
Have a nice weekend,
Henk

Hello Karen,
These old pumps you don't see anymore, at least not here in Europe. Reminders from the past and that's exactly what i like about this picture...a blast to the past...
Lovely deep colours, another thing that i like to see...crisp and bright and very colourful.
Regards,
Henk
