Hallo Roland!
Schöne Aufnahme aus "unserem" Alexandrowka - ich wohne hier direkt ums Eck, 2 Minuten Fußweg. Heute, am 16., ist der Schnee allerdings schon weit weniger geworden. Der Frühling naht.

A good observation and an interesting graphic composition, but a note to explain what we see would be good to understand it a bit more.

... long time since I have visited the site, but you give me a nice very personal reminder agaiin (Ican even see the place where I was staying).
It's a pity that the tower was built so very close to the historical site here, modern times have other interests. Anyway, I would never crop it out of the photo, as the tower has definitely become somewhat like a landmark in Bundi, even if one doesn't like it - it's there today.
You did a good job capturing the sight from a running bus. Have you ever walked up the hill to fort?? Very exhaustive and a little bit dangerous due to the "millions" of wild monkeys up there. Seems they have taken over the rule of the monument ...

Salut Claire,
I hope these gloomy days don't let you feel gloomy yourself ... this is a beautiful picture , poetic, and going "beyond" again, what I feel in many of your pictures posted here. Difficult to expose such a scene, but you managed it very well to create a beauty in such light.
Looking forward to seeing you back here (I definitely understand the need of taking breakes...)

Have a good time (even though it is a gloomy winter), and enjoy the next step (I think that's what it is about ...)

The goddess of panning has arrived another time ... Salut Claire!
... and how furious! There is a great sense of movement and speed in here. The snow and ice splashing up like fireworks, in good light and the exposure very well managed!
The WS in larger size is very well, too, but the tight crop here is more effective I think, it's a lot more "happening" in here. Well chosen. What else to say?? It's just a fantastic shot, "winter pleasures" ... a perfect visualization. Congratulations!

I have become a rare guest here in the meantime,
but always come back to see how you are doing here ...
You have succeeded very well here to turn the functional architecture of this bridge into another dimension - an almost mystical atmosphere lies in this view. The motorway and the bridge like a temple of modern times, or ... like an archaeological site. On does have to have an eye for that. The colours in the sky increase that atmosphere for me, somehow threatening, I can almost hear the thunder roaring ... above an ancient place of worship.
I guess I'm carried away a bit the longer I watch this, but this is definitely a quality of your fotos. I think that from a technical point of view you have developped a lot more skills by now, still then, like in many others here, you go beyond the visible. Magic!

this one is also very, very fascinating. It's not boring for me at all ... even if it may be pointed out to yoou several times before on this one, I like the early morning atmosphere very much, the light and the incredible colours, as well as interesting structures in the sand.
In short - a visual pleasure!

I have just come to discover your great portofolio here ... I'm fascinated!
It's a gorgeous landscape you present here, very well exposed, nice colours ... looks like a place to go (not very far away from Berlin, as I see). I have to admit, I've never been to Poland, your pictures make me seriously thinking of where to spend my next holidays. Thanks for that inspiration!
