Hi Lisa,
Funny, Henk had a similar photo, that was of a windmill in Holland...Unfortunately he is not with us anymore...like most of my favorites...
I wonder why you cropped out part of the ferris wheel...Was there something very distracting there?
Interesting concept, showing your restless need to learn and experiment something new,all the time:)
Thank you,
Nelu

Hi Phil,
This is a wonderful photo, having almost all the needed ingredients. Why "almost"? I think a human shape, shadow in the frame would add a great deal of value to it.
Using a long focal was a very good idea and the balance of lights and shadows is perfect.
Congratulations!

Hi Athanasios,
This is such a delightful photo with those wildly contrasting colors in mid November (!?!). I`m full of envy when I see what you call “the family garden”:)
I know you can`t use one on your camera but I wonder what a polarizer filter would do for this photo, to reduce the reflection of the sky light on the leaves…
Great shot, Athanasios!
Thanks,
Nelu

Hi Filipe,
What a fabulous sky, what a "solar" photo you have here! Very well composed and with a wonderful light is such a pleasure to look at, especially for the ones like me,living in colder regions of the World.
Thanks for giving away the warmth of Portugal:)

Felicitari pentru aniversare si...la mai mare!:)
Daca n-as stii, as zice ca ochii aceia uriasi trebuie sa fie photoshopati dar nu! Sint adevarati!
Numai un copil poate sa te priveasca in felul acesta...
Bravo Isa!

Hi Claude,
You know, I`m glad you`re there in Yukon taking photos because they are a valuable resource of information for us, “people of the South":)
For me that region is surrounded by mystery and the simple fact of thinking that it is thousands of km north of Calgary, which is not quite a tropical island, makes me have a great respect for people living up there.
Thanks so much,
Nelu

Hello Chris,
What a light! It really makes it easy to take the photo, doesn`t it?
I think I sense a gradient or some brushing in the upper part of the photo; darkening combined with some contrast increase, which left the valley a bit lighter, like a slight haze hanging over it.
I don`t know if I`m right or not but do know that I like the final effect.
Thanks for sharing it with us,
Nelu
