Hello Tom,
A well composed shot where the f/g creates a triangle of interesting texture, paralleled by the focal trawling gear. Some bright colours help draw the gaze into the bottom of the trawler, for interest.
There is a little oe due to a strong sunlight but nothing that spoils the enjoyment of the shot.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Many thanks for this interesting note, Tom.
I applaud the idea of children out in small skiffs rather than sitting in front of a television for large parts of the day!
The bright reds enliven the f/g, repeated a little less vibrantly in the m/g, with the focal house a wonderful capture in the b/g; it is a fine natural progression.
The whole scene is one of wild, outdoor activity; very appealing!
Are the red and white objects floats?
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Nicolas,
Your shot suits the panoramic style as it allows the details of the old chapel, perfectly sharp and detailed, to have sufficient space in the frame, whilst also allowing the imposing mountains to have enough space for their impact.
The light is beautiful and the sky has just enough cloud to make it interesting without being overpowering.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Roger,
Well, this had me scrutinising your shot with great intensity! What an interesting idea! At first, I thought you had taken the shot through the car window whilst the glass was covered in raindrops, though that didn't explain the movement in the landscape. (Yes, I had read the title but interpreted it as reflections - thinking back on what you had seen rather than it being an actual reflection!)
It is a great shot and even more appreciated from my close inspection!!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Didi,
I didn't realise that you were so old! Oh, sorry it is the volcano!!
A wonderful panoramic shot containing engaging images of autumnal trees, with the rugged details of the volcano, thrusting through their warm colours.
Excellent sharpness and a fine dof.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Please offer my congratulations to Mrs. Didi for her excellent contribution.

Hello Achim,
I just have to say 'Wow'!
What an amazing shot!
The colours, the details, the composition are all so incredible! It looks like a painting from some fictional location!
I am filled with a desire to see such places!
You are certainly fullfilling the aims of this site!
Kind regasrds,
Bev :-)

Hello Michel,
The fog may not be welcomed by travellers but it certainly makes an interesting photograph!
Your composition, with the road emeging from the b/r/h corner and the fence emerging from the b/l/h corner, is excellent; they both act as leads into the m/g where the vanishing point adds a hint of mystery.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Boa,
I had to laugh when I saw this!!
Life through the eyelids of a sleeping dog!
Is it symbolic of an old dog, that not even the light step of a pretty girl can awaken him from his slumbers?
Beautifully composed and with perfect use of narrow dof.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Wolfgang,
It is a very unusual ... very original shot!
I'm so glad you explained what it was!
The shot is immediately interesting because of its character but I like the pattern that it produces, its contrasts, its sharpness and, its impression of a large, very beautiful, precious stone.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Ciao Giorgio,
Un colpo delizioso autunno, con i colori più belli, creata dal tappeto di foglie cadute.
Le immagini sono ben messi in tiro e non vi è molto interesse creato l'uomo da mangiare ai gabbiani, e in particolare dal uccello discendente!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)
