Hi Jan,
There might be many of these terraces on Bali, this photo gives a very good overview of them with many details and a clear idea of the difference in altitude between the individual terraces.
Very good compo with the large terraces in the foreground and the broken view because of the palm trees.

A very nice experiment which worked out well!
Very good soft colors and good choice of compo. I like the combination of the stone in almost white water and the stakes in orange mixed with the darker clouds.

A sunrise and tranquille atmosphere well worth to get up early for. Beautiful colors and good light. Good compo also with excellent reflections in the pool.
Which resort or Hotel did you take this from?

Hallo Gerrit,

Goed idee om de groeiseizoenen van de rijst zo weer te geven en erg mooi in beeld gebracht door steeds min of meer dezelfde locatie te kiezen! Jammer dat je dan maar 800 pixels hebt, ik zou deze wel eens echt groot willen zien met alle details erin.
Heerlijk dat tropische groen en licht, zie er al naar uit om dat binnenkort weer te zien. Het had misschien nog wel wat uitbundiger gekund met contrast en saturatie maar dat kan ook goed aan mijn laptop liggen, die is wat grijs.

Hoi Gerrit,
Een mooi panorama van dit rijstveld. Het terras effect is goed zichtbaar is net als het glooiende/bergachtige landschap. Ook het afdak staat prima in de compositie.
Jammer dat je aan de onderkant niet net wat meer van het dorre gras hebt meegenomen zodat het de foto iets natuurlijker afgrenst.

Hi Eric,
Good compo with the grassy dune in front and the lighthouse in the back. The Difference in sharpness of the grass gives a good depth.
Nice soft light with the dark clouds and some last sun light on the lighthouse.

Without reading the note I thought had been doing quite some creative photoshopping or combining photo's ...
On some places (like in the bottom) it looks like the movement was not constant but staged.
Nice creativity you are showing here.

Very colorful capture of this masked participant of the MassKara fiesta. I like the compo with the umbrella as background. Beautiful colors and very sharp.
My wife was in Bacolod during the weekend of the festival for work. Unfortunately she did not have time to visit the festival and take some photo's.

Hi Hercules,
In today's traffic we usually are driving through a forrest of traffic signs. The one on the wall soon no-one will notice anymore and the narrowing road, well one can wonder how long that one will last.
