The details and quality of light delivered by this 50mm F1.4 are amazing.
He looks really a very dignified man as you state in your note, and serene too.

great inside photo Jan, the light coming through the window crates a wonderful atmosphere inside with this game of light and shadows.
The smiling lady seems to be a very gentle and very welcoming one.
Love the details we may appreciate all over the photo.

I have a question about the 50D - i'm thinking buying one, what your opinion about it?

Olá Filipe.
Já lá vão 3 anos e cá nos vamos aguentando contra as muitas mudanças que o site vai sofrendo, umas melhores outras piores, mas tambem pelo que vejo nos outros lados, não há muita coisa que possa dizer-se melhor do que isto.
Voltando à foto, gosto desta altura do dia quando o céu adquire estes tons bem carregados como nos mostras na foto.
Óbvio que gosto tambem da perspectiva, e da sucessão em ambos os lados destes arcos e colunas.

Great document over this tragedy that unfortunately is not the only one to strike over and over this region of the world.
The evacuation scene on front and back gave a good motion sensation to this great piece of documentary work you have here.

Hi Richard.
Beautiful photo on this cathedral with the golden tops really standing out of the scene.
The overall quality of the details all over the scene really shows that those Leica lenses are something over the top.

Nice portrait Wojtek, just love the way he seems immerse on his thoughts while some action occurs on the back of the scene.
That man with this back turned into you and his hat gives a lot of strength and meaning to the photo.

when we cannot even trust the police in this society which seems to be moving without stopping upon anything or anyone, then in whom we trust?
I heard from this kids story and saw the riots at the streets all over Greece and was shocked...
Nice from you to remember this young kids story, a story that surely ended too soon.

the charm of this photo is made by the wonderful tones mixed together in one single frame.
Beautiful light too hitting softly the trees and creating a wonderful contrast with the blue sky.
