A splendid shot, Karine. You've made winter, even with snow, look warm and made me feel I'd like to be out there too. The off center composition works beautifully and the delicacy of the frame perfectly sets off the fine lines of the chateau and the gates. A lovely Christmas card.

This scene caught my immediately. The light and soft colors are appealing but I agree with Jean-Yves about the midtones. I think, unlike Miguel, that your composition is just right -- it puts the emphasis on the two sets of arches rather than vertical symmetry. I really appreciate the extensive note but, if I may make another suggestion, I prefer to see a personal introduction if a quote from Wikipedia is going to be used. In other words, it would be nice to know why you were here and took the shot at this spot.

Burr!! I can feel the chill in my tired body near the end of a long day as the pale sun fades away behind the trees. A very effective shot with lovely light and color but I particularly like the delicate lattice effect of the branches in the middle ground overlaid by the strong form of the tree in foreground. Nicely framed too.
