Hi Pinar,
I was in Copenhagen last September but never knew this verson of the mermaid exist. I guess I missed this lovely piece of artwork. The use of the vignette is most appropriate here and it did brings out the subject very effectively. I enjoyed the transparency of the water with the help of the submerged rocks. It does add depth into this composition. I would prefer a more relax and expressive composition as it is a bit serious here to go with the type of sculpture.I am still thrilled to see this shot of yours. TFS
All the best and a great day ahead.

Hi Cedric,
An interesting way of combining the reflective and the real images and I must say it is very effective too. I enjoyed the splash of autumn colours which makes the scene lively and attractive. Great shot!!
Regards and a nice day ahead.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the visit and the helpful pointers. Its a good guide and much appreciated.
This shot is a nice tribute and I like the BW rendering. I also noticed the detailed planning and patience in this composition. I particularly enjoyed the visual rhythm created by the repeated windows and trees which harmonized beautifully with the theme here.
Great shot!!
Regards and a nice day.

Hi Paolo,
An interesting departure from your landscape series. I enjoyed this composition with the feeling of mystery as the mask suggests. The minimal lighting really helped as it managed to bring out the features of the various elements in the most exciting manner. Here it is not only the light but the shadows that are playing a main role to capture my attention. Lovely shot, indeed!!
Regards and best wishes.

Hi Urs,
Indeed nice to see such a well kept stall and you crop this well. I like the good lighting control and the colours are lovely. A better play with DOF would probably helped to prevent my eyes from wandering around too much. All the same a mouth watering shot!!
Regards and a nice day.

Hi IC,
This is a better shot compared to the last one in term of composition and the technical aspect. The good use of DOF helped to emphasize the point of interest with the blurred foreground and the exploitation of the reeds to create interesting textures compliment and enhanced this composition. I also enjoyed the nice blue background. This probably answered your question. Lovely shot!!
Regards and keep shooting.

Hi Paras,
Indeed a very lovely place and the intricate handiworks make this place very special. I also enjoyed the natural wood colours and the way you managed the lighting. The presence of a stronger focal point or lead in can make this composition even more effective. Well done!!
Regards and a nice day.
