This is a nicely composed shot using the rocks in the foreground to create a border for the shot. The mountain slopes create nice diagonals that lead the eye to the church tower. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness and DOF.

This is a nicely composed shot using the canal to lead the eye into the shot. The rail in the foreground creates a nice border for the shot. The lines of trees creates a good repeating pattern which gives the shot direction. The lighting is great with one side of the canal in sunlight and the other in shadow.
