Classic and well composed view of the lake with Wizard Island.

This reminds me once again I need to make a pilgrimage to this lake. I have never photographed it in digital before.

You might try converting this to black and white. I've heard this view might look good that way.

Superb fine art Grand Canyon landscape. This image has what most GC images lack... great foreground interest. It is hard to compose images with a lot of foreground when taking pictures of The Canyon and folks are often so awestruck that it completely slips their mind. Outstanding composition!

That 17-40 f/4L is a terrific lens and the ND filter helped flatten the lighting exceptionally well to bring out detail across the entire image.

Outstanding! The line of leafless trees and mountain reflection makes the scene great. Nicely composed with the large tree with its associated reflection positioned on the right for added visual interest.

Well look at what we have here! There are flowers in Germany in winter. Nicely captured and well processed. Sharpness is excellent.

I took some other snow shots yesterday morning like the one of mine that you commented on. I will have to review them. Perhaps I can come up with another to upload. But I will have to work hard for one as nice as yours.

The snow here only lasted a few hours and likely will not be repeated for the rest of this winter.

An incredible composition and super view of the south rim. One very, very fine image! One of the better captures of The Canyon that I've seen.

The 17-40 f/4L with the B+W polarizer does an excellent job capturing the entire scene and the DOF is excellent. I can hardly wait to capture scenes of my own like this.
