Hi Ben, as you know I was there too that day and remember quite vividly little groups of men kneeling down to pray on what was a bitterly cold day. The feeling of inner peace they were able to convey while tens of thousands of protesters were milling around them was quite astounding. As for it being theatrical - I would have to disagree!

Hi Murat, I have a feeling you may be a little disappointed with this shot. Compositionally it's great - the little boy surrounded by these Burka'd women. And I like the woman on the left to seems to be gesturing towards you in what looks to be a rather unfriendly manner.

But the lighting must have been very tricky as there are some seriously blown highlights on the heads of several of the women. A real pity as it does let it down a little for me.

Looking forward to seeing more from this excellent series.

Hi Gildor - the colours seem a little surreal, but I like the effect, which is helped by that nice NEON sign right in the centre. Strong composition too.

Hi Subhasis, you did well to see the potential in this little scene. The anchor creates a strong diagonal drawing the eye down to the tangle of ropes etc. in the bottom corner. The choice of B&W is good.

One small criticism would be that the anchor itself cuts through one of the boats on the shoreline. A little step to the left may well have positioned it in that nice gap. Also the horizon is slightly tilted, but this is very easy to fix!

Rusty automobiles - never fails! And this is a real peach - the wide angle makes the bonnet look as though it goes on forever. Great colour combination and well chosen POV.

Well observed shot Agnieszka. My 19 year old daughter often goes out looking like the girl on the left - but comes home looking like the one on the right.

Nice bit of humour - we need more like this on TE!
