welcome to TE. your subject is great, but you need to work on technical aspects. lots of blown highlights in the background and on the boy's shirt.

as the previous poster said, you should keep the girl's foot in shot, but other than that, i like your framing.

regarding your note, some more detail would be good. particularly the village name and any experiences you had while there. eg, did they mind you taking their photograph?

keep contributing, good luck with future shoots.

people who would censor you are not artists. they're ignorant, intolerant people who have no understanding outside their own selfish prejudices.

you should delete this photograph and resubmit the uncensored one ... as you can see from the comments, one person is offended by nudity, but 99 other people are supporting you!

this photograph is ugly. the big black mark makes it ugly ... anyone who is offended by a naked body is also ugly.

keep posting, and don't let the religious zealots get you down.

this is well framed with the trees ... so, compositionally, it works for me.

since i know you pretty well, i want to digress and say that this photo shows the glaring differences between your photos of late, compared to your old stuff.

there's a remarkable change in your work, both in terms of image quality (newer camera) and shot maturity (better photographer) ... you're learning a lot and it's very visible in your work.

keep it up! :)

tough shot! but you did a good job of capturing the movement ... since the lines in the shot are vertical, this might work nicely with tighter, vertical framing.

in your note, you mentioned hoards of drunk, celebrating fans ... now THAT would have been something to shoot! :)

nice overall view. even under light conditions, you probably need to increase your ISO slightly, so that you can keep your shutterspeed up. 1/30 of a second isn't fast enough to capture the movement.

great shot though, and we kicked nsw's ass too! :)

LOL ... aah, the famed pigeon ... i quite like the background, created by the shadows of lanterns.

pigeon could be a little brighter, but quite an amusing shot! :)

and yes, the harbour bridge does look like a coat hanger!!

great shot ... simple colours and strong lines. not as good as your first one, to be fair ... but this works for me.

btw, top right corner ... you need to clean your gear! :)
