Jacques, very interesting image and note. Would be interested to see closer view. I'd agree with Phwall that minerals in the water have caused these formations, there also appear to be crystal structures under the surface. thanks for posting

Giorgio, i remember Escher from school, you have recaptured the angles and POV that made escher's work so strange. Good conversion to b&w, it works too, much better than colour would have. well done

Giorgio, superb composition, reminds me of an MC Escher image - you are never sure which way things (ie his stairs and your roofs) are going! Lovely colours too. Well done.

Hi, great landscape. I particularly like the contrast of the sun coming in from the right and the dark sky behind. The foreground shade balances nicely. Very atmospheric.

Philippe, great photo and it evokes the 'end of summer' with the closed beach huts and the dark rain clouds looming in the background. Time to head home until next summer!

Hi Metteline, lovely photo, light and composition, i might just have taken a little off of the top. I remember Salima Bay well, especially the huge market selling malawi chairs and souvenirs, the village that overlooked the bay and also the fishing boats. It is a beautiful place.
thanks for posting

Pascal, lovely photo, composition and contrast. Did you use a filter? Nice and sharp too, you have captured a lot of texture.

Hi Matthew, well done, much more balanced and contrasty image than the original. You have depth in the background and foreground and colour too. My only comment would be to level the horizon and i may be tempted to crop bottom (maybe even top) a touch.
