Bonjour Jean-Yves,
I am impressed by many aspects of this photo :) The composition, the colour and light management, the minaret itself (incredible beautiful construction!)... and the fact that you managed to include several people in the photo - for best showing the real size of the building!
... and those whose hands built this remained nameless forever...!
Have a good weekend :)
Warm greetings from still frosty Moscow
Elena

Hej Gert,
:-)) maybe no comments... but this photo makes me smile! Excellent composition with the cheerful yellow colour brightening up the shadowed areas of the staircase and logically finishing (or beginning?) with the motorbike! :)
Warm regards,
Elena

Hello Klaudio,
some time in the near future I surely WILL go to Japan as it is one of my dreams which must come true :)
So far I enjoy photos...
I like the mood of the scene created by the beautiful soft well balanced colours which only Nature can offer us! Yes, you are right: these two people in the photo add a good (and maybe necessary) balance to the composition - and they also help to enhance the effect of depth!
Wishing you a very good weekend :))
Best regards
Elena

Dear Takero,
looking at this man (without your Note) I would never think he is 80 years old!! HE is a good example of how meaningful life can be, and how good and fit we can feel even at 80!
Very good capture of the energetic man in the crowd :) He is full of life and zeal - just look at his face!
Concerning the technical aspects of the photo: I love the natural colour (as always); very good DOF :)
Good luck!
and warm regards,
Elena

Dear Maria,
looks like this landscape scene offers more than one subject for photos to a photographer! You present one of those - a general view of the whole scene :) Very nice to see such a farm - especially when here it's pretty cold and snowy!
Very good composition. And the bright red tree is in the focus of attention. (I would also try taking a separate - closeup - photo of that tree with a house and a couple of cows near it) :)
Kind regards
and wishes of a very good weekend!
Elena
PS. After my 2 months absence there's so much to catch up with on TE!!

Privet, Serghei!
very curious capture of the moment :) The white shoes surely attract attention :) I wonder whose shoes they are??
Наконец-то я выбралась на ТЕ, обретя морально-эмоционально-физическую свободу (по крайней мере, надеюсь на это всеми силами)!
Хороших вам выходных... и берегите себя в этом полном неожиданностей мире!

Hello Paul,
excellent shot! Excellent capture of a very good mood :)
And I like the composition very much - with all these people together forming sort of a "triangle"... and at the same time it's like a very closeup shot showing their faces clearly enough to see their eyes and smiles :)
Wishing you a nice weekend!
best regards,
Elena

Hello Wolfgang,
I simply love such photos which convey a mood - a mood which is created not by people but by Nature itself: by a special light, by trees...
Very good perspective created by the rows of trees! And it's nice to see also people in the distance; and that red "dot" in combination with the reddish dry leaves on the tree branches and on the snowy ground adds an element of cheer :)
Have a nice day!
Kind regards,
Elena

Hello Marlene,
I have some time before my work starts, and the first thing I did this morning was to open the TE page :)
Very interesting photo: I like the idea and also the way you composed it (with the monks in bright orange robes and that red part of the signboard in the top left corner :) And the vertical green "United colours..." finishes the good balance!
The perspective lines and the people + mannequins in the window (as some kind of symbolism?) - one of the best shots which I like very much!
Warm regards,
Elena

Hello Branko,
in my opinion, the DOF is excellent here.. and again (like I see in some pictures), this photo is like two different worlds combined in one scene: a real world - and a world of illusions. Which is which, huh? the one consisting of people (in this photo) or - the one in the distance. bluish, almost disappearing... ever-eluding.
Warmest greetings from ever-real Moscow :)
and wishes of a good, productive weekend!
Elena
