Hi Yuhanna,
I like the colours and textures in this photo, and also trying to work out whose fingers belong to who.
Part of me would have liked a bit of information on the context of the photo. Are they in a lorry? Are they hiding in a garage?
But actually I think I prefer to use my imagination and work it out for myself.
Thanks for the photo!

Hi Shamsul
Really good photo!
You have done a good job of framing enough to tell the viewer a bit of a story of these people's lives without overcrowding it. And you have a good depth of focus allowing us to see the fish drying in the foreground and some detail in the background.
Well done.

Hi Sumitavo
I like how you have caught the sun rising and turning the mountains pink. Thanks for the lovely description, I bet it was spectacular to see.
One thing I might have done is cropped the photo a bit to remove some of the sky and dark area at the bottom. This might have helped to make the mountains larger and more imposing.
Well done and thanks!

I'm no great fan of the building itself but this an exceptional use of reflection in photography. The deep blue of the sky is beautiful and I love the little touch of colour that the Spanish flag brings to the picture.
This is the kind of shot I would expect to find on a postcard in the palace's gift shop. Well done!

Hi Cevdet
Well done on a fantastic shot. I like the dark brooding sky in the background in contrast to the blooming tree. Pretentious moment alert...could this be a metaphor that all new life faces stormy times at some point?
The angle of the roads bissecting the picture and the splash of yellow also help to make this so good.

Thanks for taking me back to my A-Level Classics days!
Well done on the stunning shot. I love the fact the trees put what is presumably a large temple into its context in the grand scheme of things. The tiny, isolated group of tourists also help with this.
Time for a trip to southern Italy I think.

Fantastic photo.
The colours seem like they have been slightly muted or washed out.
It reminds me a bit of a renaissance painting with lots of skin and bodies at interesting angles.
It would have been nice to have had some comments on the photo to help put it in context but otherwise brilliant.

You've done a good job of making the columns powerful and imposing in your picture. They look cold and almost metallic.
Obviously having a few people in the background helps with the perspective.
Well done and someday I look forward to visiting this impressive place.

Hello Norihito,
This, like all of your photos, is fantastic. You have a really good eye for picking out bold colours and I especially like the ones you have taken of tea plantations.
Do you have any photos of Fuji City you could post (maybe with Mt Fuji in the background)? I used to live there and it would make me very nostalgic to see a photo of it taken with your skill.

Clouds over Atami by barronfujimoto (77)

'Foreboding' is definitely the word that comes to mind - Like the sky is trying to warn Atami of an impending Tsunami.
I always got the impression that Atami was a lot more popular with Japanese tourists than with foreign tourists. Any ideas why?
