Hi Sue,
The long vertical format here really works, as do the shadow effects, as the eye is driven forward into the light. There is good depth of field, and the two wagons nicely balance each other in the frame. Very well captured.

A well composed shot of this magnificent vista. I like the depth here and the way the church dominates the heights. The photo has a natural look without undue colour saturation. Well captured.

Hi Phil,

An intriguing glimpse at the inside of this great monastery. I like the depth here and also the way the corner tile takes the eye inward on both sides. I have been intrigued by HDR and it works especially well with architectural images.

The cloud formation really gives this shot extra zing and I like the proportion of sky to increase the drama. I note from checking the forum on TE that photos may now be allowed up to 300kb in size, which may allow for greater quality shots posted. Cheers.

Well composed with good natural colours. The exposure level is just right. The little grouping of flowers/grass in the right foreground helps balance the scene. Well captured.

A very special view of the harbour, with superb reflections. The two aspects which really hit home here are the golden reflections of the buildings and the balance created with the boats seen in mid-frame. A most unusual and pleasing effect...Hope to be back more active in a month or so, as I have been battling sciatica. Cheers.

A powerful shot with much ambiance. You made great use of the fog and changing weather conditions, with a perfect exposure level. I must add to my favourites....Hope to come back to TE soon, but am wrestling with back spasms seriously limiting computer work. All the best.
