Hi Paul,
If all goes well I'll make it to this area before January - I've just applied for New Zealand residence!, although I don't know where we'll settle down yet.
Fine shot - the juxtaposition of the headland, rising from the foreground against the sky, descending from the top of the photo makes a dynamic composition. The sunrise colours are attractive and I like how you've managed to maintain detail in the foreground shooting into a relatively strong back light.
Fine image :)

Hi Way,
Always a pleasure to visit your gallery, especially after a while away! Finely presented shot. I love the strong yet natural colours and perfect sharpness you've achieved. The rays of the sun streaking across the frame from the right look great. Your great story with the photo gives the father and daughter meaning in the photo and I appreciate that.
Fine shot as always

PS - I should be settled down by about January if all goes to plan - In New Zealand this time. I'll be using TE properly again when I manage it - but until then I can only post sporadically. I've loads of good photos to upload from the recent travels though. :) - Take care

Hi Sevy,
Wonderful colours and sharpness. It might have been nicer with a slightly stronger leading line in the composition, but I think the colours and general beauty of the scene mean the photo hold it's own.
Fine shot :)

Hi Didi,
The quality of your stitch photos in quite simply incredible. Every time I ever try I always end up with ugly lines where they are joined. I'd love to know how you do it!
The sharpness and detail in your shot is lovely and the soft low light briungs out nice tones in the building facade. Nice work :)

Hi Jan,
The panormaic crop suits the composition well (or vice versa?). Because you've taken the photo from a slight angle in ralation to the jetti, it gives the impression the photo is not level (though of course it is). You could have stepped back and little and framed in straight on in relation to the jetti rafters - or perhaps I'm just being pedantic...
Nice shot :)

Hi Akihisa,
I have to concur with a few of the other commenters - it might have been better to zoom in a little more and focus on the farmer. Other than that, the colour is incredible and the direction of lines across the photo is nice. What's growing?
All the best :)

Hi Claude,
Such bold colours and heavy contrasts make the photo jump out the screen. I guess really it's a picture of nothing, but the way you have realised it makes it visually stunning.
On my screen at least, it does look very grainy. I don't know if this is deliberate, but I don't think it's a good effect and it would probably look better sharpened a little and with some noise removed. Only my opinion mind :)

Hi Steve,
You have a wonderful collection of people shots from around the world. This shot is also a winner. Great, intense, eye contact. I wonder if post processing you could have slightly blurred the area behind his face, just to focus our attention on his dominating eyes more. The photo has a lot of depth and is sharp in all areas of the frame, but I think blurring the back might improve it a little. Only an idea.
All the best
