Hello,

Beautiful, and exotic government building...but we know that today there the Georgian government leaders are having heartache for the nation's future.

I saw the news of the war, on a Japanese Newspaper of August 9. Its front page news were "63rd atomic-bomb anniversary of Nagasaki" ,"opening of olympic games" and "the war in Georgia". What a bitterness!

It's so good for the city that they didn't decided to demolish such a beautiful, historical building. This view must be so much less appealing without it.

Hello Frank!

Oh, Palace of DDR is demolished....It's so symbolic.
I have seen this building several times in TV news (especially in 1989!) and some German films such as "Goodbye Lenin".

Well, communism seems to die in Europe completely.....unlike in Far East where China and North Korea (my two neighbors) still be controlled by communist parties.

I thought the Palace might be preserved as a witness of history. But the destiny of the palace should be decided by the will of the re-unified German people.

By the way, is it true that the Kaiser's Palace is going to be rebuilt?

A nice panorama of your pretty city surrounded by green hills. It must be a comfortable place to live.

Your note about a bunker is so interesting. Had your city bombed at last? My city was not bombed during the WW2. And thanks to it, old wooden monuments still survive today.

Mata saya ditarik oleh warna-warna bagus itu dan bayang wanita yang indah. Tapi huruf Jepang "Hoka-Hoka Bento" itu agak lucu untuk orang Jepang...Termakasih atas karya yang menarik sekali!

Waktu mengunjungi Indonesia, saya pernah melihat banyak papan-papan iklan Hoka-Hoka Bento sperti ini, tapi tak prenah coba makan di situ. Baru sekarang saya sadari bahwa Hoka-hoka Bento di Indonesia bukan perusahaan Jepang!

Ya, memang di Jepang tidak ada toko bento bernama Hoka-hoka Bento. Yang di Jepang, "Hokka-hokka Tei" saja. Mmm...menarik ini. Kalau ada kesempatan ke Indonesia lagi, saya mau pasti makan di Hoka-Hoka Bento.

Hello Bill

Meskipun saya belum pernah ke Borneo, tetapi rupanya Kuching itu bandar yang menarik, kerana di situ ada jalan yang lama seperti itu, dan, apalagi, saya sendiri senang sekali pada kucing.
Dari style rumah-rumah itu tersangka bahwa di sana tinggal banyak orang China. Mungkin kalau di sana boleh makan masakan China dari ikan yang sedap....

It' interesting to see so many men working for one narrow street...but I think stone paved street is much more beautiful than asphalt covered one. Thanks for sharing.
