Nelli,
a very warm welcome to TE. You present here a very strong compositio with the herd moving from the right lower corner and streaming into the vast field ahead. The person walking into the scene and placed quite into the corner gives a perfect balance to the herd. Nice shot!

Stephen, this is a really good one. The perfect quadratic format is somewhat surprising at the first glance and I asked myself why this format and not a more logical panorama. Someone else had the same impulse and even did a WS. After looking into it I got to the conclusion that the 800x800 pixels goes better along with what you tried to pass on - Tranquility. A fantastic image!

Zeca,
uma nota dessa extensao me mata.

Deniz,
a story with a very sensitive image. The light management is superb. Surprisingly enough the OE in the dreamers face is not disturbing at all and that despite all the rest of the image is predominantely in deep shadows. Wonderful gesture of the head towards the hammock suggesting that play of wirds that you put as a subtitle: to be on the hammock or to dream about the hammock. All the architecture of the gazebo sustaining the vegetation gives with the wide-angle lens that feeling of converting to the gap between the ladies face and the hammock underlying that play between the dream andhe hammock.

John,
only now that I see this very unlandscapy shot of yours but not less good than your 'usual' work. The technical work to make this image work with that sharpness and crispness is just spot on. f/7.1 and 1/2500s is certainly the right receipt for the absolute freezing in every detail.

Stephen,
this is another wonderful masterwork coming out of your darkroom. You certainly did you homework in a perfect manner in the field. I appreciate this in a perfect composition with the mountains at each side and the little forest in the foreground framing the tower and the lake in the lower portion. An additional element that adds some great mood is the cloud cluster exactly above the little island. The range of light must have been a real challenge and yet the equilibrium of the dark and light portions is just on spot. I can't see a single sign on OE on the clouds. just a touch away of OE.
Now the darkroom work is just an attribute of what you did in the field. Look at all the hues that you got in the water. Man, that is almost to good to be true. the same also with all the greens in the forground foliage.
The image doesn't look real? It looks like a painting and not like a photograph? And who said that a photograph has to look as a pure documentation of some awesome looking place? Are photographers doomed to be pure documenting technicians? Were enters the art of photography and the individiality of the photographer. Well, I certainly don't have to tell you the answer to all these questions. I just need to look into your exemplary collection and the questions will be easy to be found.

Prezado Paulo,

Mataria o momento e voce somente veria o homem agarrando a mulher.
