Hi Manish,
I completely agree with holmertz and Longroute. A facinating picture and very interesting and informative note to go with it. Composition and depth of field are excellent. If I had to guess, it was taken handheld. If so and if you don't have one, get a tripod. They are a pain to carry around but vital when taking shot where small apertures for maximum depth of field are needed.
Great work which deserves more points. Well done!

Hi Manish,
This is a very well exposed shot of the sun which is not easy to do. The only thing I can suggest to improve it would have been to either get down a bit lower or a bit higher so the telephone lines were out of shot but this may not have been possible. Also, try putting the main subject of the shot to the left or right of centre just to see if it improves the composition.
Well done.

Hi Manish,
Your choice of f5 for this shot is a good one! The two very interesting subjects stand out sharply against the blurred background. I would loved to have seen a full length shot of them but you've done very well here. Good work!

A wonderful, wonderful shot Lucie. I thought you had abandoned us for flikr so am very pleased to see this post. You've managed to capture a very popular location with a completely new eye! Cannot be faulted technically nor on any other point of view. Sharp, well balanced composition and perfectly exposed. The sky and the yellow highlight in the foreground are just special. Excellent note too! TFS
Excellent!

Hi Tom.
You've done a very good job at capturing the beauty of this island. Like the composition in which you've separated the 3 elements in the shot and the space you given to each (sand sea and sky). The rope running from the corner is a great lead-in line. Just need to watch the horizon. Lovely shot. Well done.

Hi Cathy. This is an interesting shot with lots of potential but unfortunately you have not allowed the Workshop function on your photos. Its a good idea to allow other to do workshops on your photos as it's the best way to show how simply post processing techniques can improve an image. For this one I'd just darken it down to strengthen the contrast and bring out the shafts of light through the clouds.
Very well observed shot Cathy. Well done.

Hi Klaudio,
Great foreground interest, reflections and sun-lit land area under that wonderful moody sky. You've used you filters to great effect. Wasn't sure about the boathouse in the middle of the shot at first but I think it works very well and adds to the peacefulness the image creates. I like this very much! Well done.
Best regards
Robin
