Hola Pepe.

Hi John.
I agree with you, this is an interesting shot well worth sharing. For most of us not living in countries where icebergs are a common site, this picture inspires a wish to travel and discover.
On the photographic side, I like the soft tones of this shot and find the camp site elements, against this scenario, to make for a nice composition.
Regards,
Robert

Hi Alan.
Interesting shot and note.
This activity is called Parkour or Free running if I recall correctly.
I like how this man looks so concentrated and how the muscular tension is well visible in his arms and body,
it gives an idea of the imminent "grip" that he's about to get in the stairs beyond your point of view.
Your shot is a great result, well done.
Regards,
Rob

Hi Franck.
This shot is just great, the stilness that you've managed on the rider while having a very slight motion blur on all the rest of the scene, gives a great sense of motion and speed to the shot.
Then the busy slopes, the strong colours in the sky and on the environment of the ground, the busy slope, the ballons in the air... You've captured so much in a single shot! This pic is really rich in points of interrest, a real pleasure to the eyes.
Well done!
Regards from the French Alps.

Hi Eino.
You give a sample of the sad reality of human stupidy.
2009 seems an optimistic forecast. In northern France it still happens that WWI and WWII explosives are found and need to be defused by the army. And that after so many decades.
And interesting and informative post.
Regards from France.

Salut Jean Luc!
Amicalement,
Robert

Hi Jonas.
Nice picture of this rural setting. The vivid colours and sharpness of the shot
I've had a look at your gallery and I can see that all your pictures have a good catch and great colours.
The only thing that I'd suggest you would be to use more neutral colours in your frames. I find that the bright blue frame that you've used here is quite distracting. I find your choice of frame tones in some of your previous posts (greys, darker greens) work better on bringing the picuter forward to the viewer's eyes.

Robert
