Hi Tom,
Wonderful shot of this restored old covered bridge. This must be one of the finest covered bridges in the USA. I have only see one covered bridge in my life and it was in Oregon. It was no match for this beauty, however. Beautiful portrait of this architectual masterpiece! (Covered bridges, barns and fire engines are supposed to be red).

Hi Kath,
You have the most unusual African Safari travel series that I have ever seen. I wasn't expecting to see a seafaring image. This is a great shot and and excellent addition to your series and an outstanding job of mixing up your wide variety of subject matter. You must be a very well rounded and versatile person to have taken such a diversity of subject matter. I believe that our personalities always show up in our photography. I am sure that you have some more surprises in store for us!

Hi Greg,
Your lighting was made to order! I can't imagine having better lighting for this fabulous image. A beautiful and stunning photograph which looks more like a painting where the artist carefully mixed up the perfect colors on his pallette. Just outstanding work!

Hi Kristaps,
When the storm clouds clear in Ecuador the lighting is fantastic! The air is so clear there with no sign of air pollution at all. A very good composition with great lighting. Ecuador has about the strangest climate that I have ever heard of and your travelogue has made me feel that I have already visited this country. This travelogue of yours and Kristine's is my favorite Trek Earth travel series of all time!

Hi Phil,
I always tell myself that I learn something new everyday on Trek Earth, and today is no exception. I know that California and Nevada has some geothermal activty, but I had no idea that California had some gysers. Excellent shot and a beautiful analog to digital conversion. A fascinating travel photo also!

Hi Shaeri,
Fantastic B&W white image of these awesome peaks! Your photograph has an Ansel Adams feel to it with the beautiful contrast and your marvelous composition. I think of his "zone system" when I am looking at your photograph and your exposure is perfect. Outstanding both technically and as a work of art!

Hi Ton,
I just found this spot on the atlas. A fairly remote spot and surrounded by a lot of water. I am licking my chops thinking of all of the delicious fish that is caught in this area. You created a great shot with your very clever composition which gives your scene a very good sense of depth. Including the rocks in the foreground was a great idea. Marvelous image of this lonely looking but beautiful fishing village!

Hi Shelly,
I am glad to be of assistance anytime. We TE photographers need to share as much information as we can in these changing times. I know from experience that photographing several dancing couples in the same frame is one of the ultimate challenges for us dance photographers. Any good photographer can get closely cropped shots of just one dancer, but group shots are much, much more difficult. Unless the dancers are part of a highly controlled and very precise choreography, these type of images almost always fail. You did a great job with this dance image and I like the different, but effective poses of the three couples. It looks like they are performing the same maneuver from right to left, in sequence. This is a very tough shot to execute and you did an outstanding job IMO. You have good instincts and a good sense of timing which is about 75% of the battle. Well done!
