Congrats Jim, you have really captured something here. That special something you can't really describe that just leaves you thinking "Wow, that's a great one !".
May be as mentionned by fayeulle this one would also work in a more 'panoramical' format. But I like this area of plain empty water. It reinforces the feeling of cold brought by the surrouding hills and the fog and makes the houses (especially the one on the right because of the warm tones from the artificial lights) look all the more comfortable.

Hello,
I agree with everyone else about the wonderful colors, typical Irish landscape and so on.
However, I have to point out that your picture is slightly tilted. And since you've added a frame, maybe you could have corrected this at the same time. This is all the more important considering the castle is the main feature in the picture.
So I made a workshop. To correct the vertical lines first, and also to bring back some life in the clouds. I used the contrast mask technic.
Copy of the main layer.
Adjust > Desaturate > Invert
'Overlay' as blending choice of the layers
Gaussian Blur 10Px

The tint of blue in the foreground water is incredible.
I had to take a ruler to check but your horizon seems a bit... tilted :))
Must be because of the lake's shore.

Simple yet so effective.
The Little People and all kind of mythical creatures are everywhere around us but only expert eyes can spot them. But not only did you spot this one but managed to immortalize him :))
Well done.
