That is really high ground! Using the geometry to the slopes for a juxta view of the rocks and blue sky :) and I see the FL200mm still only manages to give a small outline figures on the top which is what I like the most.
You are probably one of the more crazy dudes to hike for more than 1 month outside your own country :) and I have a good question for you.
At the top and at the hut, how many glasses did you have?

I always enjoy your presentation of images from Japan's daily life and festivals because you know how and where to go and find such activities and events showing the people, places, traditions, customs and costumes. This is one of them.
To me, it is not just images, but I think you as a photographer are enjoying the moments there when you shoot the scenes. I like that spontaneity.

You certainly open your eyes wide to spot this, Klaudio, because the color and elegance of the fish is always a plus. A lovely presentation of something so common yet still stirs a good interest. The light here is just perfect.
Nice work.

Lisa
Here comes a naughty schoolboy.
I dont quite believe that you would return at night all by yourself to a place repeatedly to show the scenery. Is that something else on the main dish that you did not tell us about?
On first look, I was thinking aha, here was the white fat bloke sitting at the edge of water pretending fishing and the girl pretending to do photography. You see, the slight tint of blue hour sky is surely romantic enough for a rendezvous here with a little bit of vino. Actually the bloke could be hidden behind the white block?
On the photo, I find the DOF to be so good because the FG and BG are all in focus, only f/9? That is incredible.
A lovely one, Lisa.

Perhaps Lisa did some good photoshop to show bright sunshine and blue skies in her photos but here the effect is not so prevaling. You have put in focus the chimney tower stack and the gantry crane with darker contrast and displaying the pair of structures in silence.
A great story line and a good presentation from a TE meet. Yes, Sydney, I will take note of it.
Merry Xmas and Happy 2010 New Year to you.

Today, looking at this title and place, I suddenly realized that when you were here, you would be hearing and speaking everything to your mother tongue and what a kind of feeling home it would be. Taking in a scene like this, even after your return to Australia, would still cause some impact on your thoughts and memories linked to a past that you were born out of and grew up in a short few years. Such memory lives vividly forever. This is the kind of township where a smaller community would generate a stronger sense of your belonging and association.
I quite like the down-to-earth look here captured essentially showing the daily life routine, and as if people shown here would know a chap called Santo shooting something.
Imagine if you were in your mid-20s, you would be cycling and proactive in activities from morning till night. Such a reminiscence of life.
No sigh please, only a smile on the lips :)
Ciao, Mario

hi Zbig
I think you did a good job here with no distortion tilt of the tall minarets which is done because you chose a POV from a good height level to the structure.
Technically I see nothing much to comment because the light is superb and clarity is really good, perhaps it is just a matter of personal preference to choose a POV that shows different aspect of this architecture.

hi Steve
I am envious of this pair because they seem very affectionate and you were sneaking up on them. But I forgive you because you did a great job in delivering this piece so well executed that I truly appreciate the full colors and clarity. Need I thank you more?
p/s It was great to met you Steve at Warrandyte Park although we failed miserably with photography.
All the best from Borneo
Merry Xmas and Happy 2010 New Year.
