Ha, ha, Noel, it does look as if I was swinging out in space to take this! Actually, there was a set of steps to take you under the aqueduct so that you could cross from the tow path on the canal to the footpath alongside the aqueduct. Having said that, I did lean out as far as was humanly possible.

Bonjour Mike,
j'ai pens� ajouter le contraste, mais les parois devenaient plus sombres et moins en couleur des sables de Syna� (en allusion � la travers�e biblique de la mer rouge par les Juifs que Mo�se conduisit d'�gypte en Isra�l).
Je les ai laiss�s tels quels.
Le b�timent est vraiment impressionnant et magnifique dans sa conception et sa simplicit�.
� voir, � visiter pour comprendre aussi ce qui se passait sur cette terre des Polonais et des Juifs en m�me temps dans leurs HISTOIRE commune.

Thank you for your interest.

The canal, in general is much wider than this section, here, which is the aqueduct. Obviously, the narrower it could be constructed, the less stress it put on supports, and was cheaper.

Hi Andrew,

The aqueduct is part of the Llangollen Canal and was an important and relatively cheap way of transporting goods between Wales and England. Sadly, the Dee Valley got in the way of the route. It was too deep to contemplate a series of locks so they built the aqueduct. This link will tell you about the canal.

Moj unuk voli zivotinje, sa prozora moje spavace sobe voli da baci parce hleba pticama koje dolaze na krov, vrpaci, cavke crne i gugutke.
Kroz zavesu posmatramo kako ptice dolaze i jedu hleba.
Unuk uziva i zadovoljan je sto je nahranio ptice koje u ovo vreme imaju mlade.
Imao sam problema da snimim vrapca, plasljivi su a ovo je uz sam prozor, snimak sam napravi kroz staklo prozora, pored zavese.

Mi nieto ama a los animales, desde la ventana de mi dormitorio gusta tirar un pedazo de pan a las aves que llegan a la cima, vrpaci, cavke negro y cuello.
A trav�s de la mirada de la cortina en las aves vienen a comer pan.
Nieto disfruta y est� convencido de que las aves alimentadas en este momento con los j�venes.
Tuve problemas para disparar un gorri�n, son t�midos y esto est� al lado de la ventana, hago una foto a trav�s de la ventana de cristal, al lado de la cortina.
