I am getting a note "invalid email" , but shows the correct email address

Have you noticed any emails going to your new address since you attempted to change it?

I reported back in October 2018 that I was unable to change my e-mail address and the problem is still there. I change it in my profile, but when I go back to the profile the old e-mail is still showing.

Hi bbarna,
I have updated my profile note last month and since I noticed some spelling mistakes I corrected it few times.
But then one day I wanted to add few words and I got the same error message "invalid email".
Few days later it worked again.
I wonder if there is a limit of how many times you can change your profile in a month or it may be just a randomly appearing error like many other errors on this website.

For example I still get the error message every time I upload a photo. There are two options:
1. either there is error message, the photo is uploaded but note and locations are not copied over, OR
2. there is no error message but the note loses all its links and formatting.
Either way I have to paste the note twice.
But it happens since few years already and we notified the team here several times. They don't know how or they don't bother to fix it.
So what I am saying is: if you see an error message on TE, don't complain but get used to it. The only thing you can do is to wait and hope it will pass :)

May be it depends on the web browser like the way the photos are displayed?
In the past the photos were displayed as they were uploaded -now there is a difference for different web browsers as we already concluded before. Similar to facebook: you never know how your photo will look like after uploading it.

I tried with a different browser, it did not help, same message invalid email. I still waiting to hear from the administrator.
