Re: 10 days in Cambodia?

Ten days? Angkor is pretty much the best of Cambodia. I might slip across the border into Laos and get to Luang Prabang; one of the lesser known treasures of SE Asia. What a trip that would...

A most unusual setting....

Interesting...it looks like Japanese men, posing as Tibetans, in front of a copy of an Indian monuement.

Re: Does this place remind anyone of www.photoSIG.com?

Great story Phil!

Yes, and they still swap points in little cliques at PhotoPpoints as they did at the other sites. Shhh! Don't tell them about TE, or they'll surely drag it down with them also.

www.photoSIG.? Heaven forbid!

You don't ever want another site to end up like Psig.
Quality is superb; attitude, competiveness and the administrators are to be avoided at all costs.

Someone else used the word 'fake'....

It does have an unnatural look to it. But if you say it's one shot we believe you.
The rest of your images look perfectly natural and quite good.

All the best!

How could I forget Yangon and the magnificent Schwedagon! Schwedagon with its golden spires and colorful outbuildings, surely ranks as one of the most photographic religeous sites in all of SE Asia....

You might want to take every precaution available for India!

We did malaria pills, plague shots, hepatitis shots, tetanus shots and Cipro for your stomach. We ate only in hotels and better restaurants and drank bottled water...a must.
And I still got sick as...

Re: Laos vs. Myanmar/Burma

Wow, what a dilemma. I've been to Luang Prabang (Laos), Myanmar and China's Yunnan Province and would hate to have missed any of them.

Luang Prabang is a sleepy little town on the muddy Mekong...

Me too, Keith!

My 15" Sony (less than 2 years old!) went belly-up last week and the NEC 17" I replaced it with is amazing. The clarity and lack of glare are far superior to any monitor I'd used before. I have read...
