I have written some comments today and after a while I have just checked if they were recorded or not. It seems that three last comments that I have written are gone although the TE website behaved normally. It is true that they may have been over 20 comments which I wrote today but still the form allowed me to write the comments and showed that I still have smileys to give so I kept going. Now I see I wasted some time as the last comments were not recorded. So first of all the counter of the smileys is definitely not working correctly. But most importantly if a comment is not recorded it should say so. M |

Today a new variation of the problem:
The counter counts but wrongly. At certain point it keeps showing that I have still 2 smileys to give. But the critique is not accepted so I check the number of comments and I have done 20 indeed. The counter shows 2 left. And again there is no message saying that the critique is not accepted. Just to remind to people who do not remember: in the past after reaching 20 comments you were simply not seeing the smileys under your comment. Now you keep seeing smileys... and counter is wrong, it almost always was since it was introduced. I bet many people keep writing comments not knowing that their comments were not accepted, because the system allows you to keep writing. So now I learned to check after every comment I write if it is there or not. M |
