Email Notifications.

Today I received 5 emails from TE to notify me that I received five replies to critiques. That is not true. I received 5 critiques (actually 4 critiques, 1 comment) to my latest posting. Is there a way to deactivate this new feature? I do not want to receive email notifications for critiques & comments I receive. This is going to be a problem to my email in-box management if I receive too many critiques. However, I do like to receive the real "reply to critique" notification.

You should have the ability to turn this option on or off ( whether you receive the alerts) this was something that was requested for us to fix a few weeks ago so we were under the impression that this what you wanted..

Hi Didi,

I logged in as you and was able to turn the notifications off.

ls7902 - Here are the steps:

1. When you're logged in, click on Account on the top bar and then Edit Profile.

2. You should be in Overview right now. Right below the tabs, click on Alerts Profile.

3. On the "Critique Replies" section under "My Alerts", click on "None" and you should not be receiving any email notifications whenever you receive a critique.

There is a great confusion. I think administrators don't understand, i.e., maybe, we are not explaining it properly.
Replies to critiques: WE WANT TO BE NOTIFICATED.
Critiques: NO (they're already on the menu).
I have all my settings in Alert profile as I want and it doesn't work. I didn't change it --- before, I received alerts for the replies to critiques... now anymore.
After we started asking the administration to fix it, we started receiving alerts for the critiques (which is not necessary).

I'll give you dates, so you can check how it happened, if this can help.
We stopped receiving alerts for the replies to critiques around 02 February 2010. Then, after asking to fix it, we started receiving alerts for the critiques themselves around 06 March (which is not necessary, in my opinion, they're already on the menu... and it is not this feature we were asking to be repaired).

Countries : NONE

Critics replies : Receive an email whenever someone replies to your critique. ON DEMAND it's not this one.

I don't see the following option
Recieve an email when someone write a critic about my post

I don't see the following option
Recieve an email when someone write a critic about my post The problem is here I don't want to recieve 20 email every day.

Many members send me an email
This new problem exixts with them also
Papagolf told me that he recieved 50 emails, he has never changed his alerts option and the problem started since last week
