Great PixelTerror 2010-04-08 8:47

Hi Dan
An image fitting to the events, I guess if you had to take it these days you would take care of not cutting the feet
Have a nice day JY

Default To PixelTerror: Feet sort of there

Hi, Jean Yves -

I thought about cropping the image to leave off the feet altogether, but there were other elements close to the edge that I wanted, like the wheels on the wagon. And it was a grab shot.

Still, I would argue that this doesn't really break the rule about feet. The rule, as I learned it recently from a portrait photographer (Bobbi Lane) from whom I was taking a workshop, is that you can cut off any part of the body (almost), but you can't do it at a joint - knee, ankle, elbow, waist. Since the cut here is below the ankle, I claim that it follows the rules. (And gets me off the hook for not noticing it at the time!)
