I think Rothko would love it!
Although he liked to have a floating square somewhere in many of his paintings - or rectangle - or two.
This is marvelous with the line of clearly focused bank of earth to contrast with the delicately shaded layers of color - which are indeed VERY Rothkoesque!
What a beautiful surprise for my morning! Thank you!
