Great mkamionka 2019-10-20 0:02

Hi Paul,
NYC is certainly a great place to photograph bridges. And if so the blue hour is the perfect moment to do so.
Brilliant series of photos here. The blue hour one is of course my favourite.
You have selected a lovely point of view towards the Manhattan Bridge here, less known.
You have interestingly merged part of the bridge with the sky scraper.
The panoramic view is stunning but my favourite part here is the vivid reflection in the water.
Excellent work!!

Default To mkamionka: The park

Thank you Mariusz,

On the Brooklyn side of the East River is a small park (in the DUMBO neigbourhood) along the waterside between Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge.
DUMBO means Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.
That park is well known and always has many visitors because it offers good views of both bridges and of the skyline of Lower Manhattan.
So it was not exactly a discovery of mine

You write that I have merged a part of the bridge with the new tall sky scraper. I personally don't think that this is so successful.
But I didn't have that much choice for a good point of view. I'd rather not have seen that sky scraper in the extension of the bridge pillar.

Best wishes,
Paul
