Hello Leslie,
very nice B&W photo. Maybe the POV good be a little bit lower so that the dead tree is more in the sky? Now the tree is disappearing in the background.

Hello Jan-Arie,
you could be right,the problem was that it is a very steep hill and by going lower all of the rocks which are important to the scene would have been lost.
