Great asajernigan 2015-03-23 8:12

Hello Bernie,
This is a fine shot of this great old train. Your POV is well chosen showing the train from an angle that creates depth and a sense of direction. The lighting is fine and the photo has good color and detail. I am a big fan of trains and especially these old steam engines.
TFS,
Asa

There are several lines that run steam excursion trains. I have had the good fortune to ride on several of them. Do they run steam excursion trains in Europe?

I viewed the original drawings for a Baldwin engine in the Franklin Museum in Philadelphia. The drawings were on one sheet of vellum and must have been 30 or 40 feet long. It is amazing to me that they could design a steam engine using pencil and paper and a slide rule.

Have a nice week.
Regards, Bernie
