Great macjake 2017-03-20 10:49

Hi Stephen
I'm thinking of booking a trip to Portugal in April...i'm curious, how much time did you have in the country? I'm thinking of going for only 2 weeks, I hope that is long enough. I'll be staying on the mainland, as much as i'd like to see the Islands, I don't think i have enough time.

This artwork idea was a great idea indeed. I guess it brings a community together. Very cool images on this one, and the blue colour its set on makes it stand out as well.
awesome post for TE. looks great. cheers

Default To macjake: April in Portugal

Hi Craig,

April in fact is a great time to visit Portugal before it gets too hot and becomes overcrowded with visitors. Two weeks is probably about right for a first visit to the mainland, especially with the type of planning you do:-) Lisbon is worth a good four or five days; you could divide the rest of your time between the north and south of the country, which are completely different in terms of landscape and ambience. For the North, you could think about basing yourself in Porto, you have no doubt seen many pictures from there on TE. For the South, perhaps Faro or Albufeira. I'm sure you will enjoy it, a beautiful country with very friendly people.

Thanks for your comments on my posting.
