Great holmertz 2018-05-12 1:18

Hello Bev,
My first photo on TE from the UK was taken in Knaresborough, but almost 54 years ago. I expect you to post a similar view like mine any day. ;-) I guess this statue wasn't there in 1964. They rarely built amusing monuments to ordinary people in those days. It's a fine tribute to an unprivileged person who managed to create a good life for himself in spite of all, and it's a good photo with excellent light and clarity. Never mind the inevitable car.
Kind regards,
Gert

Thank you for your interest, Gert.

Knaresborough is a lovely place and we were lucky to get some sunny days to take advantage of the views. Of course, the viaduct is THE attraction and I took quite a few shots from different viewpoints. I fear I would bore everyone to death if I was to attempt to post them all! Maybe I should warn everyone about boredom!!!😂😂

Have a great w/e,
Bev
