Great holmertz 2017-05-19 2:31

Hello Klaudio,
This looks like an interesting forest which could offer good trekking. Above all you have captured a fantastic light seeping through the trees. I wonder if the gate is just meant to stop cattle and can be opened by people, or if the signs say "Private propert, keep out". Where I live all forests, although always owned by someone, are open to the public.
Kind regards,
Gert

Default To holmertz: Forest for All

Hi Gert. Like many forests or national parks, they are all open and have unrestricted access. The gates are often there to stop vehicle access. Also there are signs at these gates which indicate a ban on dogs or bicycles. Also there might be signs warning people that there is a poisoning programme on in the park in the efforts efforts to get rid of vermin like foxes and wild cats and dogs which decimate vulnerable birds like the lyre bird or our gentle marsupials.
