Great abmdsudi 2018-01-23 20:45

Hi Jean
The little guy must have just been attracted to your camera or peanuts? he is emerging from such a pretty natural environment. Beautifully posed, he sure has the cute factor and how very lovely, charm and character. I just hope he is prepared for the tough times ahead. Such an endearing creature superbly captured with maximum detail.

PS:Jean, it was taken from the GH - sitting on the edge of Tengger Caldera rim, a crater that stretches about 17km across. From the edge, steep wall plunges almost vertically about half a kilometer down to a vast flat sea of lava sand, as shown in pic's foreground, leading the Bromo valcano. I'll upload another image at a later date just to illustrate this better, Tx to your interest.
Best wishes

Default To abmdsudi: from the caldera

Hi, Abmdsudi,
thank you for your explanation about where you were when you took this wonderful picture.
It sounds quite dangerous to me!
The things that some of us do to take our shots!
Stay safe,
best wishes, Jean.
