Problem with uploading photos

Hi. Being a newbie I am having problems resizing photos to the required size of 300 kb for uploading. Could anybody please help/advise how to proceed? Thanks.

Hello,

I sometimes use 'Paint' to change the photograph to the exact # of pixels acceptable (I go for the maximum 1500). I hit the 'resize' button, and then enter the value for horizontal - and the vertical # will adjust on it's own.
