Great ChrisJ 2018-05-24 1:12

Hi Malgo

Sent an email about yesterday's upload and got a reply:

"The music depicted on the street facing wall of our building is the Clementi Sonatina, Opus 36, No.2 and the music on the wall in the carpark is Bachs Minuet in G."

Anyway I like today's shot of Queen Charlotte Sound as well. It was exceptionally pretty in April when I went with the trees turning yellow and red. This section of the ria resembles Akaroa near Christchurch. Good sharpness and framing with natural looking colour. Tfs!

Talking To ChrisJ: Clementi Sonatina

hello Chris, Thanks a lot for the information . I had the same idea, in fact, I wrote an e-mail but they didn't answer. . Thanks also for the link to Youtube. But... strange thing is that the Clementi Sonatina Opus 36, No.2 is in G major, and the notes on the walls are obviously in B Major (or g minor). So it can't be the first movement anyway. Maybe the other movement is in different tonality?
I will try to find sheet music.

Anyway, it is fun. Thanks!

MAlgo
