Hello

Thanks for the history lesson. I like the image for it's simplicity. The medallion on the lower part of the sculptor with the three towers is very interesting.

Hello Jimmy,

Thanks for your comment. I took the close-up of this artwork, because of its beautiful carved frame. Only today, when I decided to post the picture and searched for its history, I learned about Sobieski. It was a big surprise to me. I only heard about the Austrian Prince Eugene of Savoy, as a hero of war against the Ottoman invaders.
