Great lousat 2018-10-15 14:56

Hi Gert. Your pics from Palermo drive me crazy, you're great! Really interesting to see this city through the eyes of a citizen of northern Europe who is certainly not used to seeing scenes of life and sometimes degradation in the hearts of big cities. Beautiful pictures, even the classic fruit market is a pleasure to behold in this context of ancient walls and battered, also the beautiful workshop of the arrotino who is the one who sharpens the knives.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano.

Default To lousat: Thank you Luciano

Hello Luciano,
Thank you for your kind comments. Your enthusiasm is encouraging. But I have seen "degradation in the hearts of big cities" many times. I could mention Calcutta, Karachi, Kairo, just to name a few. But this is the kind of urban environment I like the most, so I always try to gett off the tourist tracks.
Have a nice day you too,
Gert
