I can't upload a photo if the description has non-English characters. I was only able to upload after I took out the Turkish translation in my note. Furthermore, all the Turkish characters in my pervious uploads have turned into fancy question marks.

This morning I was able to post a photo with a bilingual note. I just realized that the note is gone account of the some french characters. I edited the post with the english version of the note only.

If you write a note or a critique in french and do not use the special french characters, it will be accepted by the system.

Today I also found out that it is not possible to reply to other members' critiques. I have tried several times but only get the message "Invalid cquery".

Furthermore, all discussions on earlier photos have gone. All that remains is "Invalid dpt_query".

This is utterly hopeless. I write a critique and the same infernal "Invalid query" thing comes up each time I try to upload it and my critique disappears off to the far side of Andromeda. This has been going on now for over 18 hours so I think I am enforced to have a break from TE until such time as it's fixed.

Hello again,

I prepared a photo with a long note to post last night. The photo posted, but the note was blank. This seems to be another strange glitch. I see that other people are uploading photos with notes, but mine didn't work. By the way, I made sure there were no apostrophes in my note or title.

I deleted the photo, since I didn't want it posted without the note.

I wonder why all these strange problems are popping up...

To John (tyro): If you don't use apostrophes the notes are accepted.

To IB staff:
On the TE homepage there is a "featured destination". If I click on "view more photos", I just get an empty page.
The same goes for the featured destinations in the box on the upper right side of the gallery page. No pictures are available, just empty pages.
