New Travelogue Area

New to this site I saw that facility Travelogues and I was keen of using it. So I was cheking out how others handle this feature but the use of it seems rather mysterious to me .... I was expecting that it was possible to add the story behind the picture with a pop-up screen or an opening-screen with a link located by each picture and with a next picture it would be possible to walk through the whole trip with all information as a good preperation to undertake that same adventure yourself. I thought this was trekking all about.
Now I notice that people are using the description even to say hello to each other as there is a lack of this feature and you got the impression that the photo's are more important to judge and to improve independently without any threat at all. Was this the target : judging each others, mostly in a small circle or learning about travel-possiblities at the same time ? Maybe I didn't get it right ?

Travelogues are a way to group photos taken within a specific time period to make it easier to view together. It's also possible to attach a story to a travelogue so one may write about the trip as well. That's all.

The note description for each photo is separate from the travelogue feature. As for the target of this site, different people will use it in different ways, but critiquing is a big part of it.

What number I fill in or how I change the date always a message occur: No photos exist for this time period. Please remove the headline photo.

I create my trovelogue but don't publish. And I don't see added photo.
I take difeerent message I do day adverb. "No photos exist for this time period"
I write a photo name at the headline photo adverb that system say "Photo ID must be integer."

How do I publish travelogue ?

Hello hoping you can help - I tried to post to my travelogues but I can't get past the very end bit which I think is "Headline Photo" Everything I try to put in there comes up with an error message. It seems to require a number but what ever I put it says outside my trip dates.

You must indicate the number of a photo that will be part of your travelogue. If I take the example of your latest upload (Isola Santa Maria, Tropea), the number is 861722. This is found in the URL at the top of the screen.
