Hi Phil,
I haven't been around here in a while. This is great. Somehow it feels more Asian the European to me (for no logical reason). It is a shot I think that appeals to sense of nostalgia of anyone that has done any trekking, or climbingm or hillwalking. It answers that question of why people engage in those activities...it is to get to spots like this.
Nicely done technically but the emotional ring of it is what i really like.

Mark, thanks, the reaction you have had to my photo is exactly that what I felt and what I wanted to convey. It means a lot to me that I managed to bring that across.

As for the Faulhorn itself, it was worth every effort to get there and I can't recommend it highly enough.
