Very nice - I can quite see the attraction of the window colours which really set this tidy composition off.

Quite noisy in the water/sky area though. I've tried selective NR in these areas to being back the smooth look - without damaging the detail in the rest of the shot.

Well thanks for this fine workshop Colin. I agree with you about the noise and I was a little puzzled because I used 400 ISO...I didn't know it could be so noisy at that rate...Well I think what you did is a real improvement. Did you use Photoshop or another software?

Many thanks,

I used a free download called Noiseware.

Applied NR to the whole shot, then placed the NR version over the original in Photoshop 7 (I'm behind the times and poor!) - then ereased through the NR layer to reveal the "sharp" layer beneath. Merged layers.
