Different rules for different members

I am surprised to see that some members are able to give critiques with more than 20 green smileys a day. I tried but can't give more than twenty. I guess the rules are the same for all the members. How come some members are allowed to give more than 20 green smileys on any given day. ?

I've noticed this too. There must be a bug in the system. And the members able to do this are remarkably silent...

I think this was mentioned in the forum several weeks ago. There is no counting down from 20. I always have the message 'you have 20 critiques remaining' - it never changes. I don't know whether I can post more than 20 - I haven't tried or counted. I thought that this was the same for everyone.

Remember that it is not 24 hours local to you, it is 24 hours local to US Pacific Standard Time where IB is located...

If the critiques are clock stamped in US Pacific Standard Time, then yes!!

It's easy to check any of the members that deliver critiques according to the conveyor belt principle and see that they have written more than 20 critiques on any specific date.

I'm not willing to mention any names. Not yet...

A specific date doesn't make it 20 in a 24-hour period.

And without names, we can't exactly troubleshoot this, can we?

I've just had a look at my critique rate. On the 14th I wrote 3 critiques, 15th - 23 critiques and 16th 20. I have been away for 2 weeks and catching up with posts I missed. I have no idea how the clock works but I do know that the daily tally is no longer working. Quite frankly, I have enough to do without counting up how many critiques I have given in any period. What actually is the problem here, is the tally working for some members and not for others? I really don't think that some members are favoured over others in this particular case ... a bug does not have favourites! As for being silent..... how many people actually count how many crits they give each day? I didn't until this issue was raised. Let's be rational about this, I'm sure that there in no conspiracy afoot
